![]() I’m not sure on what caused this, but this only happens when open vr is open on steam. Deleted all SteamVR preferences, still didn. Its fun in VRChat to be able to move about and resize my height, but Im having trouble. Then I decided to attempt to upgrade to version 3.2.0, still didnt work. Checked my settings, tried a PC restart, didnt work. Ever since a few days ago, moving my Playspace causes me to rubber band back to where I was before, and it sometimes just refuses to work. I was in the middle of a long session, and I tried to use my playspace mover on version 3.1.0 with the HTC Vive, and it wouldnt work. Really tl dr "resetting position" sets your SteamVR position to "0" not necessarily your game position. Running a quest 2 with OVR Advanced settings and Open VR for tracker calibration. Uninstall all that stuff, install OVR Advanced Settings from Steam, and use the 'Space drag' feature. ![]() Tl dr in a perfect box if you used only us to move you would move back to origin, but the second you turn/use the motion in game the games co-ordinate system does not match steamvr's and you might end up in un-expected/new areas on reset. we are effectively blind to the game's co-ordinate system, as such when you do things like use the games locomotion/turning it changes the percieved origin point.Įven hitting things like collisions in game could cause the perceived origin to change. Using the Reset keybind option in motion in keybindings or the Reset option in the Offsets tab is the more correct way. "Revert All Changes from this Session" is not really meant for the offsets (though it should work) What do I need to do Try going into the motion tab in advanced settings, go to Space Drag and check mark Left Hand/Right hand. ![]() So first off Just making sure you are on 5.2.0 (front page bottom right) I change the bindings in the bindings setting in OVRAS, but it doesnt do anything when playspace is closed, and only the default bindings work when playspace is open. I cant find anything on the internet confirming this, but it would be really unfortunate if that was the case because I. When you are in VR hands you need to press the left oculus button, click the settings button which should appear if you installed OVR correctly, then go to application settings and turn on 'Enable Motion Features When in Seated Mode (Experimental)', then go to to motion settings and enable space drag on the hand (s) you want to be able to use. This allows you to 'climb' around certain games, and allows you to adjust your floor level on the fly. I heard through the grape vine that PlayspaceMover will not function properly with the avatar following your perspective unless you had full body tracking. Lets you drag around your playspace by gripping certain buttons. Well There are two values ~8km and ~40km out that behavior might change a bit but I doubt you are hitting those XD. Like seen in the picture (this is a fullbody functional avatar btw). ![]()
